UPDATE:

The second confirmed case of COVID-19 in Hunt County that was reported yesterday does not actually belong to Hunt County, according to Hunt County Judge Bobby Stovall.

Hunt County Health Department conducted an investigation into the patient and discovered that they moved away from their Hunt County residence over a year ago.

The patient was not tested for COVID-19 at a Hunt County facility.

There is a second confirmed case of COVID-19 in Hunt County, according to Hunt County Judge Bobby Stovall.

The patient has been identified as a male that is 50-64 years and resides in the 75402 zip code.

The Hunt County Health Authority is investigating any contact the patient may have had with relatives or others.
