Northeast Texas Children’s Museum Plans to Reopen Next Week

Announcement from Northeast Texas Children’s Museum:

We appreciate your patience and understanding while we work to safely reopen after closing for ten weeks due to COVID-19. For the first week of reopening (Tuesday, May 26 to Saturday, May 30), visitors to the Children’s Museum are asked to schedule their visit by reserving the day and time of their visit.

The Museum will open from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm and close from 12:00 to 1:00 pm for cleaning. The museum will reopen from 1:00 to 4:00 pm for the second part of the day. Closing thirty minutes earlier each day will allow the staff additional time to clean the museum before opening for the next day.

As each group enters the Museum, each visitor’s temperature will be taken and they will be required to wash their hands before entering the museum.

The Museum will re-evaluate these procedures during our first week of reopening in deciding how to move forward into the summer months. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
