K-9 Takedown Ends 115 MPH High Speed Pursuit

DPS Troopers along with Hopkins County units, were successfully able to capture and arrest pursuit suspect, Faustin Henderson, after a high speed pursuit through two Counties, reaching speeds up to 115 MPH.
Hopkins County units were able to deploy stop sticks in the area of I-30EB & mile marker 127, eventually bringing the vehicle to a stop, with suspect Henderson running across the I-30 Westbound lanes of traffic, in an attempt to escape on foot.
Hopkins County K-9 Deputy Patterson, was able to release his partner, K-9 Chiv which caught up to the suspect, grabbing hold, allowing officers to place the suspect in custody.
Henderson was treated for dog bites at the scene by EMS & released back over to DPS units.
Faustin Henderson has been booked into the Hunt County Jail on charges of:
-PROH SUB CORR FACIL-POSS DEADLY WEAPON
-POSS CS PG 1 <1G
-EVADING ARREST DET W/VEH
-EVADING ARREST DETENTION
-FAIL TO IDENTIFY FUGITIVE INTENT GIVE FALSE INFO
