by Hunt County Theft Reports

Lisa Chandler was reported missing from her home close to Wolfe City thirteen years ago. After numerous leads followed up on and searches, the whereabouts of Lisa are still unknown.

“I have spoken to Sheriff Elect Terry Jones and he has agreed to keep this case open. I have been in contact throughout the years with Lisa’s Mother, Marie Johnson,” said Hunt County Sheriff Randy Meeks.

Lisa was last seen on September 23rd, 2007. Dogs tracked Lisa’s scent for five miles, heading south from her home along Highway 34.

Marie Johnson said, “I hate to hear that you (Randy Meeks) are retiring, but I’m so glad you are going to stay in contact with the new Sheriff. I’ve never met you, but when you tell me something, I believe you. Let him (Terry Jones) know that you have kept her name in the paper for me all these years. “
